1990-2006
Today I let Zola fall asleep for the last time. For the past few weeks she had been fighting a cancer that was making her horribly uncomfortable. She led a wonderful life, nearly reaching the age of sixteen. She will be missed.

Lane, I'm so sorry about Zola. She was a very sweet cat. Cassandra and I are crushed about her passing and we both feel very sad as well. Although we will miss her very much, we are fortunate to have memories of her and her funny little habits and quirks. Cassandra called her a "little princess", and I would certainly say she had the personality of one. I can't help but think that Silly will have a hard time with this. I hope he adjusts well. Sorry for your loss.
Ah, Lane, I'm sorry. It's tough to lose a companion animal, especially one you've known all its life. My cats send their sympathies, too. As much as I complain about Toto, I love her, and she's getting old and I'll be writing a similar entry about her in a couple of years...
Peace.
I'm sorry your Zola has passed on. What a sweet kitty. My George is a Tuxedo Cat too.
I'm sending good thoughts to you and Zola.
